T7 Max MOI Triangular Red Titanium Driver Head

  • Compare to TaylorMade® R7 CGB Max™
  • The innovative triangle shape promotes a high Moment of Inertia (MOI).
  • By expanding the front-to-back breadth dimension and adding back weight, the Center of Gravity is more rearward. The benefits are high launching shots and forgiveness on off-center hits for long and straight drives.
  • 3 adjustable weight ports. Each head comes standard with 1 x 5-gm and 2 x 2-gm weight inserts. Head comes standard weighted in a neutral position to promote a maximum Moment of Inertia (M.O.I.). Further replacement weight screws are not available.
  • Loft, Lie, Face Angle +/- 1°; Weight +/- 3 gm tolerance.

unfortunately the maker of T7 titan drivers is not offering replacement weight screws. Extra weight screws are not available. i suggest to apply self-adhesive lead tape at strategic locations of the head to trim the head for a certain ball flight.

there are no additional weight screws available. the head is coming with 2 pcs 2 gram and 1 pc 5 gram screw. it is possible to exchange the weight among each other. However it is recommended to leave the screws as they are. for trimming the head it is recommended to attach self-adhesive lead tape outside the head for a certain flight bias.

I bought this 14 degree driver head to help me get the flight I want off the tee. This works for me, and I am pretty sure I could hit it off the fairway too if needed.

Advantages: The 460 cc head is what I needed. Even a little miss-hit is still OK with a head this size.

Disadvantages: This only came with a 1 degree closed face. I would prefer a square face because I pretty much always draw the ball off the tee already. Still like it anyway.

I ordered the T7 Max MOI driver head because I liked the matching fairway wood heads a lot. Turned out to be a very good move on my part.

Advantages: Solid feel, mishits turn out OK. Good contact produces real good shots.

Disadvantages: Sometimes I hit enough real good shots that I will try to really rip one, dumb on my part.

Finally.... a driver I like!! I've spent the last 59 years of my golfing life looking for a driver I can actually hit consistently well. Off-the-shelf, custom made, it didn't matter.... until I made this one. My search is finally over. Whoop-whoop!!!!

Advantages: Off the center of the clubface, the ball jumps further and straighter than any driver I've ever played.

Disadvantages: None yet.
