This shaft is surprisingly good! bought it as a cheap range shaft for practicing long drive. Turned into one of my favorite shafts. very strong, and good quality. can easily handle speeds of 140 mph swing speeds.

First I like Monark Golf overall for quality products at lower prices then most other golf component sites. I also like their fast shipping. I have used MCS shafts before and find them of very good quality. My drive averages about 270 yards. Some times I put a long one out there lol

At age 69 I thought I'd never have to worry about drives that surpassed my eyesight, until today. I married this orange MCS 70 r/s shaft to an X Force P42 10.5 driver head. It was only 50 here today but my drives carried well past 200yards which has always been a barrier for me, and they were straight as well. Can't wait for the warm weather to get here now. I've been totally impressed with every club I built from Monark components.

Advantages: Perfect flex for 80+mph swing. well balanced, I felt in total control of my swing. This is go-to wood shaft from now on.

Disadvantages: Wish I would have found it sooner.

A very nice driver head for the price. I'm hitting the ball a little than I did and that makes playing the game more fun at the age of 70. I just wish that there was a 14 degree model as that is the loft that I prefer. The new AI series and B-7 heads don't have a 14 degree either. How I wish they did but I'm not holding my breath.

Advantages: Nice looking and sets up great. It has some punch to it.

Disadvantages: No 14 degree model for us older golfers. Very sad.

This shaft is very stable and gives the same great performance as the pricey shafts w/o breaking the bank. Give it a test and you'll agree.

My Acer XV Tour Blades have i-Drive Tour Shafts, Senior flex, standard specs. I went from stiff graphite shafts to Senior flex due to an auto accident and a resulting back problem. I absolutely love the combination. The iDrive shafts and Acer blades allow me to hit my favorite shot, a high draw. I have the 6,7,8,9,P,S,L,G.

Advantages: The biggest advantages are the price and the custom options available at Monark. I experimented with several different shafts to find a flex and kick point I liked. They play like expensive forged irons. Monark custom built my set and I'm extremely happy!

Disadvantages: I can't think of a disadvantage other than the clubs are made and shipped to the customer which takes a few days. Literally within a week!
