The Sooolong 450 features a compact head profile with deep face design (62 mm deep). This head is great for golfers who prefer a classic head shape.
The face is forged from extra strong heat treated 15-3-3-3 Beta Titanium, allowing for an thinner face (2.7 to 2.9 mm). A thinner face increases trempoline effect for increased distance.
Weight was moved low and to the rear producing a higher launch angle for greater distance and accuracy.
The deep face and enlarged sweet spot boost confidence at address position.

Great combination of Head and Shaft. I had been playing the 10.5 degree Head with a TRUE TEMPER XL Steel Shaft. I decided to switch to 12.0 degrees. Thanks to customer reviews on the Monark site I chose the ACCUFLEX VIZION Shaft.
Advantages: Great swing weight. Can still hit a lower trajectory if needed.
Disadvantages: I had been playing with 43 inch drivers for years. I ordered this one at 44 inches. I've only played with it twice so I'm still adjusting to it. When I hit it properly I'm thrilled with the control and distance.

I ordered a totally custom club for under $100 !!! This club is high quality beta-titanium with a first class finish. The 450R driver has a traditional head shape and feel. It’s perfect for me and my budget. It would be a great choice for most golfers of any skill level.
Advantages: Totally customized build — to your specs.
Disadvantages: No adjustable features on club head for shot shaping.
