I started by adding the 3 & 4 hybrids to my bag. I loved them. I have always been better at hitting my woods than my irons. I kept replacing my irons with hybrids, a couple of clubs at a time. I know have an all hybrid set and just love them. They have definitely improved my scores.

Advantages: For me, they have been much easier to hit and control that standard irons.

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage I've experienced is in making a shot out of wood, or bad areas. I still carry a standard 5 iron as a trouble club. But I love my hybrids.
