Description

Custom-Built Pinhawk SL Single Length Iron Set

  • The newest and hottest trend in golf is single-length irons!
  • Looking for more consistency from your iron game? The new Pinhawk SL Single Length irons are extremely popular for a reason. Contrary to a traditional set of irons, the SL's are all designed to be the same length throughout the entire set. In addition, the swingweight and flex are also the same. This allows the golfer to use the same swing, on the same plane, with the same feel, for each iron in the set.
  • The loft gapping is slightly larger than traditional irons; this is to maintain a proper distance gap between clubs. The suggested men’s length for the Pinhawk SL's is 37", which is a typical 7 iron length.
  • The same length design allows to have the same stance, same posture and the exact swing plane for every shot regardless of iron number. These are the factors that allow you to only need just that one swing no matter what shot you’re taking. Golf got easier now. If you are looking for consistence in your iron game, single-length is the way to go.
  • This Set includes 6 custom-built iron clubs (#5 to #9 and PW). Click Here for additional Long Irons and Wedges.
  • Please allow 3 business days for club building.

recommended 37" club length applies both to graphite shafts and steel shafts. The swing weight will be different between graphite and steel shafts due to heavier weight of steel shafts.

The clubs appear to be an excellent quality and were delivered very quickly. The price was very reasonable considering that they are custom built clubs.

Advantages: Custom built clubs that are of a good auality

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage that the shipping fees to Canada were fairly high.

Had a set built to transition from traditional length irons. These are the easiest full set of irons you can own. Just need to get used to the loft difference. Either way, I’ll be in the fairways a whole lot more than before. Love them.

Advantages: Repeatable, single swing and ball position for every strike. If you can hit your 7 iron consistently, you’ll hit all of your irons consistently.

Disadvantages: There is a learning curve for distances and my wedges hit a bit longer.

Purchased a set of Pinhawk irons, nicely made, 4 and 5 iron are heavier than a normal 4 and 5 which gives them more distance hitting power. higher irons hit fine to the green and chip. I just have to learn to swing them all the right way every time.

Advantages: one swing advantage. better distance than regular irons.

Disadvantages: I have not found any disadvantages in the irons themselves I wish the length selection could be not in 1/2 inch but allow 1/4 such as 37 1/4 I bought 37 1/2 for choking up variations liberty. works fine with Jumbo grips.

Love these clubs! Solid feel on every shot. Wedges seem to fly higher and as predicted, also longer. I am going to have recalculate my distances on all irons. Seems like no loss of distance on the 4/5 hybrids.

Advantages: Single length affords the same setup and swing plane on all clubs.

Disadvantages: Wedge shots fly further. Need to adjust.
