Mitsubishi Diamana BF-Series Wood Shafts + Adapter & Grip

  • The Diamana BF-series represents the next generation version of MRC's signature "smooth" bend profile. The new BF-series, like its most recent predecessor the Diamana B-Series, incorporates high-strength DIALEAD Pitch Fiber by Mitsubishi Rayon into the butt-section of the shaft, adding unprecedented strength and control during shaft loading and unloading.
  • The new Diamana BF-Series also incorporates for the first time a new hybrid prepreg developed by the engineers at Mitsubishi Rayon. This new prepreg combines boron fiber and Mitsubishi Rayon's latest carbon fiber innovation MR70. Mitsubishi Rayon's MR-70 by is 20% stronger and has 10% higher modulus than conventional carbon fibers. Strategically positioned in the tip-section of the shaft this hybrid prepreg provides unprecedented strength and stability at impact. 
  • Dialed Pitch Fiber: The Third Generation Diaman™ Series features our latest prepreg with DIALEAD Pitch Fiber for outstanding strength and energy transfer with a minimum of shaft deformation. While more costly and difficult to manufacture, the pitch fiber we are using is much stronger than traditional carbon fiber. All prepreg used in our shafts is developed and produced by Mitsubishi Rayon, or our trusted partners, giving us precise control over every step of the process
  • MR70: Specifically designed and developed by Mitsubishi Chemical for high-performance applications, MR70 is an innovative new carbon fiber material that is 20% stronger and has 10% the modulus than conventional materials
  • Boron: Boron fiber is equivalent in stiffness to high modulus carbon fiber with superior compression strength. As a result, Boron Fiber is often utilized for structure reinforcement most notably in military applications.
  • Bend Point: Mid-High
  • Ball Flight: Low-Mid
  • Measure Shaft Length: Please measure the length of your current shaft (not club length) as we don't have your shaft in our store.
    • Remove shaft from your club head.
    • Remove the screw or bolt from hosel adapter
    • Measure length of your current shaft, measure length from tip end of adapter to the butt end of grip
    • Write the desired shaft length of your new shaft into the field "Shaft Length"
  • Please allow 2 - 3 business days for the shaft installation.
  • Your new shaft is trimmed to your specification and is a one-of-a-time product. No return allowed, sales are final.
  • Please allow +/- 1/4 inch tolerance between new and old shaft; it is not considered a defect for warranty.
