Description

Heater B-6 Cup Face Titanium Driver Head

  • compare to TaylorMade® M6™
  • The new 2019 Heater B-6 Driver: additional distance plus forgiveness at the same time.
  • The deep Recoil Zone creates higher ball speeds over a larger portion of the face.
  • Cup face design enlarges the effective face area and sweet spot. The benefit is increased rebound effect for more distance. Conventional driver heads have a tig welding line behind the face, our innovative cup face design allows for welding on the body shell. This technique reduces the risk of cracks and makes the face thinner and wider promoting faster ball speed and more distance.
  • Enlarged Sweet Spot: In order to make the B6 driver both long and forgiving, it was built with technologies that protect both ball speed and create a massive sweet spot. The Heater B6 is engineered with high MOI and a redesigned Recoil Pocket – two features that combine to produce maximum forgiveness and speed across the face. Heater's B6 Recoil Pocket is an area that allows the face to flex additionally and create higher ball speeds over a larger portion of the face.
  • The expanded face-to-back distance of 111 mm increases the MOI for improved forgiveness and increased distance.
  • Loft, Lie, Face Angle +/- 1°; Weight +/- 3 gm tolerance.

A
Heater B6 driver is 0.335" hosel bore. any ferrule with 0.335" inner diameter will work. FE-44 wood ferrule is a popular ferrule. all ferrules are a bit countersink.

A very nice driver head for the price. I'm hitting the ball a little than I did and that makes playing the game more fun at the age of 70. I just wish that there was a 14 degree model as that is the loft that I prefer. The new AI series and B-7 heads don't have a 14 degree either. How I wish they did but I'm not holding my breath.

Advantages: Nice looking and sets up great. It has some punch to it.

Disadvantages: No 14 degree model for us older golfers. Very sad.

I love this driver head. Center hits go further and straighter than my Callaway XR, which I have set-up with a lower loft.

Advantages: Center hits really fly.

Disadvantages: Was hoping the sweet spot was a little bigger, but I guess I have to keep working on grooving my swing for fewer off-center hits.

Great driver head. I teamed it with a Project X LZ-55 46" graphite shaft with regular flex for my son and senior flex for myself. Our drives are straighter and hitting more fairways.

Advantages: Very forgiving head. Large sweet spot

Disadvantages: I haven't found any disadvantages

These club heads are great. I built my complete set by myself and was surprised at the field and performance of the driver and fairway woods.
