Description

X-Force P42 Fairway Wood Head

  • Compare to Ping® G Standard™
  • The thinner top plate saves weight and lowers the CG, increases MOI and make it easy to get the ball in the air. Turbulators capture the ball and can aid in alignment.
  • New Lower Lead Edge: The lead edge has been lowered getting the ball easily airborne. The lower lead edge slides the face under the equator of the ball so impact occurs higher on the face.
  • Rear sole weighting optimizes the CG location and increases the MOI. The result are optimal ball flight for added distance.
  • Aero-dynamic head profile reduces drag and promotes faster golf club speed for more distance.
  • The expanded face-to-back distance increases the MOI for improved forgiveness and increased distance.
  • Deep Face design increases face flexing and improves confidence at address
  • Loft, Lie, Face Angle +/- 1°; Weight +/- 3 gm tolerance.

Great club

Advantages: Straight and long. Very easy to hit off the tee.

Disadvantages: A little larger than most fairway woods so can be a bit harder to hit off the fairway. I purchased it to use off the tee when driver is too much. Highly recommended.

Built the X-Force P42 fairway woods 3 & 5 . Assembled with Maltby ProSeries MPF fairway shafts and golf pride MCC 4 Jumbo grips. Both clubs preform very well .

Advantages: Longer than the new callaway’s off the deck, an out of the rough.

Disadvantages: Ball flight a little lower than I like

I suggest you provide a #2 head for a 44" mini driver.204 gr., 12degree loft, 230 cc., Weight port unnecessary.

Advantages: Easier to hit, more accurate, economical driver/ fairway wood.

Disadvantages: none

These fairway heads are excellent for driving because they are larger and lighter than normal making it possible to increase shaft length. Feel is good.

Advantages: Easer to hit with higher launch angle and straighter than standard drivers with little if any loss in distance. Economical.

Disadvantages: none
