the shaft is coming in raw length, not pre-cut. For R flex you will need to trim the shaft from butt end to desired club length. The kit comes with one strip of grip tape to install grip on shaft. you can use mineral spirit such as paint thinner (do not use acetone)

the kit comes with Accuflex 70 graphite shaft. at the upper right corner click on the search icon and search for PA-1881. you will find tip trim chart at the shaft web page click the tap "Description"
