A
there is no "best" shaft. Shafts are not designed to fit a club head, shafts are designed to support your game and fit your swing, i.e. shafts are designed for a certain player profile. for seniors with smooth swing speed a light weight graphite shaft (45 g or 55 g) Senior flex promoting a high launching ball is suggested.

As a novice club builder, I was excited to put together my new club to replace my old Cobra "draw weight" driver. I am NOT disappointed!!

Advantages: Although sold to enhance a "draw", the Acer XDS driver head is perfect for correcting and controlling my natural fade shaped tee shots. I'm finding the fairway with greater consistency.

Disadvantages: None!!
