Tour Model X-Speed Cup Face Titanium Driver Head

  • The new 2019 Tour Model X-Speed Driver: additional distance plus forgiveness at the same time.
  • The deep Recoil Zone creates higher ball speeds over a larger portion of the face.
  • Cup face design enlarges the effective face area and sweet spot. The benefit is increased rebound effect for more distance. Conventional driver heads have a tig welding line behind the face, our innovative cup face design allows for welding on the body shell. This technique reduces the risk of cracks and makes the face thinner and wider promoting faster ball speed and more distance.
  • Enlarged Sweet Spot: In order to make the X-Speed driver both long and forgiving, it was built with technologies that protect both ball speed and create a massive sweet spot. The Tour Model X-Speed is engineered with high MOI and a redesigned Recoil Pocket – two features that combine to produce maximum forgiveness and speed across the face. Heater's B6 Recoil Pocket is an area that allows the face to flex additionally and create higher ball speeds over a larger portion of the face.
  • The expanded face-to-back distance of 109 mm increases the MOI for improved forgiveness and increased distance.
  • The black / silver finished top plate serves as an alignment aid to keep the club face square towards the target.
  • Loft, Lie, Face Angle +/- 1°; Weight +/- 3 gm tolerance.

I bought this to replace a solid (but aging) Tour Model TM Burner clone. I paired it with a Fujikura/Cobra black shaft and WOW!. I hit a more penetrating shot now, with greater carry and roll. I've added 7-10 yards and am even more accurate than before. The driver has a nice sound and feel as well. No twist face, as on the M6, so it isn't an exact clone.

Advantages: Increased length and accuracy

Disadvantages: None, really

I bought this head and paired it with a Fujikura PRO 65 shaft. The result is a fairway seeking missle launcher. Easily 10 yards longer than my previous driver. The sound is unique and distinct, but I like it.

Advantages: Great distance and forgiveness

Disadvantages: Sound is a matter of taste
