  • Made in Japan, the new Mitsubishi KURO KAGE XD features high-modulus fiber and an even longer application of Titanium Nickel (TiNi) Wire in the tip-section. The new XD is a low launch shaft with low spin design.
  • The KURO KAGE™ XD utilizes premium 40-Ton and 46-Ton carbon fiber as well as an ultra-long application of the TiNi Wire prepreg in the tip section. We’ve taken the TiNi Wire and increased its length by 1.5 times along the outer layer. The design lowers launch and spin, and delivers a new level of stability and control.
  • Ion Plated Finish: The KURO KAGE™ XD comes in a premium ion plated finish. The Ion Plating process creates a sophisticated, premium finish that cannot be achieved just by applying paint. The shaft is put into a vacuum chamber where chrome or silver alloy ions are fused to the shaft. It’s a more costly, time consuming process but it creates a stunning finish that we think is worth the extra time.
  • Titanium Nickel (TiNi) Wire: The double-layer of TiNi Wire (Dual Core TiNi) in the tip section of the shaft it further increases the strength and stability at impact and delivers tighter shot dispersion. TiNi wire is a premium elastic wire that immediately springs back to original shape when stretched. Integrating TiNi with carbon fibers in the tip section allows the energy to loaded and unloaded with great efficiency when the wire stretches, while providing extra strength and stability to the tip
  • Low Resin Content Prepreg: MRC's Low Resin Content Prepreg, with up to 15% more carbon fiber and less resin (20% vs. 33%) allows them to create a higher density of carbon fibers without adding weight.
  • Available in 50gram, 60gram and 70 gram weight ranges to fit a wide array of golfers.
