- The SK Fiber Hypersonic Wood shafts feature a counterbalanced design. The advantages of counterbalancing are that it allows you to use a slightly heavier head at normal length like the weight port in our Acer XV and XDS drivers or many OEM drivers with adapter sleeves. Or you can increase the length by 0.5" with standard head weights and yet maintain a normal swingweight. In both cases, this can help increase distance.
