The new 2018 Syntec Accuforce 70 graphite shafts are filament wound, not table rolled. High modulus material is filament wound around a special forming mandrel. The result is virtually no spine for increased consistency, improved uniformity and more consistent recovery rate at moment of impact. What size ferrules do i use

Syntec Ultra 65 has 0.335 tip diameter. Any ferrule with a 0.335 inner diameter will do. A popular ferrule for drivers and fairway woods is FE-44, it is black, 0.5" high and inner diameter is 0.335

How much do i tip trim a regular flex for a 2 wood

#2 wood is 0.50" longer club length than #3 wood. i suggest tip trim 0.25" for R flex

Used this shaft in regular flex to replace the stiff shaft in a Callaway driver I bought used. Compared it to a couple of other shafts i had fitted to other drivers I had on hand and found this shaft to be a perfectly acceptable option for my 80 mph swing speed. The filament winding was a comfort during assembly for a budget club builder without a spine finder. Plan on using the iron versions for some wedges next.

Advantages: Can't beat the price for a shaft this light. Graphics are bold but I like them

Disadvantages: None that I have noticed so far

Really great Golf Shaft. The fit was perfect and the feed back on impact was what I had hoped for. Excellent product.

I have used Syntec shafts R flex on my long irons with good success. Tried the A flex wood shaft for two drivers to look for more distance. Didn’t work for me as I had trouble getting the face squared. The shaft seemed fine, just not a fit for me (yet).

Advantages: Good weight and feel.

Disadvantages: Probably too flexible for me in the flex I chose.

Bought one of these as an experiment. As As As a former professional, I was greatly surprised at the results. This inexpensive 65 gram shaft performs as well as my $100 shafts. Who woulda thought that could happen. Planning to buy more of these.

Advantages: Lightweight, excellent kick, nice low torque rating, attractive graphics.

Disadvantages: Can’t think of any unless you’re trying to lower you trajectory, or you want a “status symbol”.

This Syntec shaft fits my 86 mph swing speed perfectly.

Advantages: I have used Syntec shafts in several clubs with great success. The flex is right for my swing and the price can’t be beat.
