the inner diameter of shaft is important for male hosel pin when you slip the shaft over a pin. Apollo steel putter shafts fit all putter heads we are offering online. it may not fit older putter heads or OEM putter heads. the inner diameter does not matter for female hosel.

do you refer to PHANTOM X 8.5? Phantom X-8.5 has 90º upright hosel post. SS-88 fits putters with slanted hosel post, this shaft will not fit Phantom X-85. Phantom X-85 needs SS-91 triple bend shaft designed for upright hosel post or 90º hosel bore.
