Description

Mitsubishi Diamana GT-Series Graphite Wood Shaft Built with Adapter & Grip

  • The third installment in the 5th Generation Diamana family has arrived with Diamana GT. Designed based off the multiple-major winning 4th Generation Diamana ZF profile, the mid-launching, mid-low spinning Diamana GT incorporates several new technological advancements into an existing successful structure. Diamana GT was constructed with our breakthrough, proprietary Xlink Tech Resin System, a new technique that allows us to reduce the resin content of the shaft for the best feel possible while not diminishing the overall strength of the product. Featuring a firmer butt section than its siblings Diamana TB and Diamana PD, GT creates more flexibility in the shaft’s midsection while maintaining a firm tip.
  • Fitters around the world will also appreciate the use of Consistent Feel Design in the new Diamana GT. Consistent Feel Design minimizes variance in butt OD, weight and balance point across various weights and flexes, with the intention of making the shafts feel the same as you move between different weights and flexes in a fitting environment.
  • Following Diamana TB and Diamana PD, the new Diamana GT brings a profile that sits in between that launches lower than TB and spins more than PD.
  • Xlink Tech: Designed to evolve and elevate 4th Generation Diamana ZF with the addition of Xlink Tech Resin System and Consistent Feel Design to existing structure that includes MR70 and boron fiber.
  • Uses Xlink Tech Resin System to drive down resin content for best possible feel while creating a more stable, stronger, carbon-rich structure.
  • Consistent Feel Design to minimize variance in butt OD, weight, and balance point
  • MR70 Carbon Fibers: The new Diamana RF-Series incorporates for the first time a new hybrid prepreg developed by the engineers at Mitsubishi Chemical. This new prepreg combines boron fiber and Mitsubishi Chemical's latest carbon fiber innovation MR70. Mitsubishi Chemical's MR70 by is 20% stronger and has 10% higher modulus than conventional carbon fibers. Strategically positioned in the tip-section of the shaft this hybrid prepreg provides unprecedented strength and stability at impact.
  • Boron Fiber is equivalent in stiffness to high modulus carbon fiber with superior compression strength and utilized for structure reinforcement.
  • ION plated finish: The Ion Plating process creates a sophisticated, premium finish that cannot be achieved just by applying paint. The shaft is put into a vacuum chamber where chrome or silver alloy ions are fused to the shaft. It’s a more costly, time consuming process but it creates a stunning finish that we think is worth the extra time.
  • Boron Fiber is equivalent in stiffness to high modulus carbon fiber with superior compression strength and utilized for structure reinforcement.
  • Mid Launch / Low Spin design
  • Bend Point: Mid-High
  • Ball Flight: Low-Mid
  • Tip Trimming: Driver 0"; #3W 0.5"; #5W 0.75"; #7W 1"; #9W 1".
  • Measure Shaft Length: Please measure the length of your current shaft (not club length) as we don't have your shaft in our store.
    • Remove shaft from your club head.
    • Remove the screw or bolt from hosel adapter
    • Measure length of your current shaft, measure length from tip end of adapter to the butt end of grip
    • Write the desired shaft length of your new shaft into the field "Shaft Length"
  • This is a built-to-order assembled shaft + adapter + grip itemPlease allow 3 business days for the shaft installation.
  • Your new shaft is trimmed to your specification. Order cannot be cancelled once assembly has begun. No return allowed, sales are final.
  • Please allow +/- 1/4 inch tolerance between new and old shaft; it is not considered a defect.
