• The TENSEI AV Silver Hybrid/Iron is a 0.370" tip, cut-to-length, 42-inch iron shaft that incorporates our latest innovation - Aluminum Vapor (AV) Coated Fiber. The TENSEI AV Hybrid/Iron incorporates Aluminum Vapor (AV) Coated Fiber that adds additional stability to help achieve our desired profile and stiffness targets. The AV weave on this newer TENSEI Iron Series is tighter and thinner than the original Carbon Fiber/Kevlar (CK) weave.  The result is a versatile profile, with reduced overall weight and increased stiffness in the butt section to help prevent shaft ovaling and improve energy transfer. 
• Aluminum Vapor Deposited Fiber (AV): Inside a vacuum-sealed chamber, the fiber is coated with aluminum vapor. This AV fiber adds stability, to help achieve the desired EI target. And the weave is tighter and thinner than the previous CK material, which helps prevent shaft ovaling. The result is a versatile profile, with reduced overall weight and increased stiffness in the butt section to help prevent shaft ovaling and improve energy transfer.
