I want to make a 10.5 deg Driver with, about, a 43.5 inch shaft..this shaft. Would it be recommended to not trim the tip, and just butt trim to length?

you can do 0" tip trim for a short driver of 43.5" club length. These shafts are A/L and R/S combo flex. 0" for lady flex and R flex, 1" tip trim for Senior and Stiff flex.
