iron shafts need to be trimmed twice: first tip trim, install the head on shaft and let it dry. then trim from butt end to desired club length. Less tip trim keeps a shaft softer, more tip trim makes a shaft firmer. before you trim all shafts, whether the raw shaft length will allow you to tip trim to Stiff and 1 inch longer. 1in longer club length could make the flex a little bit softer. you can correct it by doing 0.25in more tip trip. Again trim one shaft first as a pilot shaft to see whether club length is okay

in the past, TrueTemper made the Multi-STep shaft in R/S combo flex. they changed it to single flex, it is either R flex or Stiff flex. These shafts are currently backordered by TrueTemper.
