The distance is far greater than that of the existing driver. I am quite satisfied with this head.
If you are concerned about the short driving distance, I recommend using this head.

Putting 12 degree driver with lightweight
Accuflex Vision shaft took years off the
age of the elder golfer it was fitted for.
