BJ I am a 72 year old golfer, who has lost a lot of distance over the years. Well, the theory is that we should be using at our age, a higher loft, and a more flexible shaft. bought this driver head at 12° loft. I paired it with a lightweight shaft with a ladies flex.
This worked fine, the combination of the shaft and the club head has enabled me to hit higher shots that go significantly further than my previous club, which was a 10 1/2° loft paired with a senior flex shaft.
