It promotes a higher launch and spin in long irons (4-6) for easier launch, and a lower, more controlled, piercing trajectory in short irons (7-PW), combining a smooth feel with improved scoring performance. Specifically engineered to help players launch long irons higher, while preventing ballooning in shorter irons.
